Nursing assistants, as we know them, are typically the most challenging nursing positions in our profession.

According to recent research, nursing assistants make up nearly a third of all positions in nursing homes, and according to a study by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, nursing jobs that require nursing assistants to perform physical labor and administrative tasks often have lower pay and higher absenteeism rates than those that require nurses to perform mental and administrative functions.

And because nursing is an occupational specialty that requires a good deal of manual dexterity and coordination, many nursing jobs have to be staffed with skilled nursing assistants.

But these positions are not the only ones nursing employees must compete with for positions.

Here are five other nursing jobs you should be looking for.


Registered nurse (RN) This is a very difficult nursing job to get right.

Registered nurses are typically older workers who are looking to retire.

But if you’re ready to retire early, you’ll need to find a nursing home that offers the right kind of support to help you transition into a new job.

The best part is that you can earn a nurse’s license while working as a registered nurse.

In addition, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities that offer a nurse education program can offer financial assistance to help pay for your nursing school education.

You’ll also want to be sure to sign up for a nursing certification program to get your certification on the same level as a nurse.

These programs help you pass a number of tests that make it more difficult for employers to discriminate against you.

A number of state and federal laws protect you from discrimination when applying for a job.


Registered assistant (RA) This nursing job requires a lot of hand-to-mouth work.

Registered assistants are often the hardest-working people in the nursing workforce.

In fact, one survey found that 71 percent of nursing staff said that they were very or extremely frustrated working as registered assistants, and nearly a quarter of nurses said they were dissatisfied with their jobs.

As a registered assistant, you’re expected to be physically and mentally tough, which is why you should expect to earn a lot more than nurses.

Registered aides also earn a good salary, so they should consider finding a job that pays a lot better.

This is particularly true if you are starting out in your career, or you’re working in an area where you have little or no experience.

Registered home nurse (RTN) This job is typically the toughest nursing job for RNs.

It requires a strong work ethic, but the most difficult nursing jobs require the best of the best to do them.

A home nursing job is an important part of any nursing home’s business, and home nursing programs often offer nursing assistants an income and benefits package that make the position even more attractive.

This means that RNs who have a degree and are looking for a better paying job can apply to be a home nurse.

The most important thing about this job is that it requires a solid work ethic.

RNs with less than a high school diploma will also find the RTN position more challenging.


Registered dental assistant (RTD) This RN position is a tough one.

This job requires nursing students to have a good knowledge of dentistry, and a good understanding of the needs of people in their communities.

It’s not uncommon for RN students to work at a nursing school, but there’s no guarantee that a home school is hiring RNs to do dental work.

RN graduates with a degree in dentistry can also work in dentists’ offices, and some of these positions require RNs, who have experience in clinical practice, to complete a dental internship.

The good news is that RN graduates can take on these jobs for free or pay as much as $35 an hour to work as a dental assistant.


Nurse-assisted living facility nurse (NAL) This position is the hardest nursing job in nursing.
